Gathering at Terry's Farm

Terry's now Chief Engineer of Channel 5! He went there in April 2002 after working at Channel 9 TV since the early eighties. Terry had kindly invited everyone to their new place in Cazenovia. Tim & Sheri Kiggins had to bow out, and at one time Liz Nortsworthy was going to come up from NJ, but that fell through because I failed to keep Terry apprised of our schedule the week before. Both situations were disappointing, but that's life. Eventually, it was Rick Labs, Jim Hughes, Terry & der Frau, Carol, & me.

They have, maybe, 6 acres in rural Caz. They've got a big garage (or a small barn) with lots of room for the tractor, test gear, and tools! Terry's heaven.

This barn shot sucks because of insufficient light. I processed the snots out of it with GraphicConverter v4; the artifacts are the mottling and dots. It looked worse in color, so I made the saturation zero.

Even though Jack and Mike weren't there, they were in SPIRIT, so I include their pictures here for completeness.

Jack's Family

The next day we headed south to see Jack and family.

Jack works for the State of New York at one of their facilities for very retarded people. He started there in a Psychological capacity but has since been appointed their MIS Director. Way to go, Jack. One very cherished moment of my life was when I was asked to read a Bible passage at Jack and Karen's wedding in the mid-eighties.

Jack, how'd you manage such a cute family? That's Katie and Johnny in the front. Here are some more acrobatic kids captured as MPEGs. Two warnings: 1) Each is at least 2.5 MB so it's gonna be a LONG download if you're using a modem and, 2) the idiot photographer turned the camera sideways as he often does for STILLS, but you CAN'T ROTATE MOVIES; so, you'll have to rotate your head (or monitor) instead. I fired him, by the way. He's outta here...

From there we headed south to PA, NJ, and VA. If you'd like to see miscellaneous shots from the last 2 legs of the trip, click here.
